Randy Marx (born August 18, 1988) is a Latin-American producer, songwriter, musician, and recording engineer known for his innovative approach to music and his ability to seamlessly blend multiple genres. Born in Montebello, California, and raised in East Los Angeles, Randy's passion for music ignited after he graduated high school. With a deep commitment to refining his craft, he has written and produced songs for both independent and rising artists, establishing himself as a key player in the music industry.
An honor graduate of the prestigious Los Angeles Film School, Randy pursued a graduate degree in Music Production, continually pushing himself to master new techniques and expand his musical boundaries. His dedication to his art is evident in every project, and he’s earned a reputation for his melodic tunefulness and lyrical diversity.
Randy has collaborated with a wide range of influential artists and producers, both behind the scenes and in the studio, including the famous Irish comedy duo The 2 Johnnies, R&B artist TeeFlii, multi-platinum audio engineer IRKO, platinum producer RawSmoov, and Love & Hip Hop star Ray J, to name a few.
His evolving sound and unique voice have gained him attention in the industry, particularly with his recent incorporation of rap-singing in his work. His lyrics reflect his "Dark Horse" mentality, touching on themes of struggle, resilience, and ambition, from overcoming poverty to the independent hustle and entrepreneurial spirit.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists, including 50 Cent, Akon, Fabolous, Pitbull, T-Pain, Max Martin, Kevin Gates, Nelly, Wale, Rod Wave, and others, Randy's artistry continues to grow and captivate mainstream audiences.
One of his recent career highlights includes his work on Capcom's Street Fighter 6 series, where he created the main theme song, character select screen music, and the Capcom Cup theme song—further solidifying his position as a rising force in the music industry.
